Booking policies
Clear rules, before you pay anything.
You'll see all of this before any payment is taken. If anything isn't clear, just ask.
The Secure Your Slot Fee is the Pass and Drive fee for arranging and securing your instructor and package. It is not an instructor charge — your instructor receives the full £39 per hour tuition.
Lessons are then paid as you go at £78 per 2-hour lesson, in advance.
Lesson cancellation
Cancel at least 48 hours before your lesson and the prepaid £78 moves to the rearranged 2-hour lesson. Cancel within 48 hours, or do not attend, and that lesson is lost and the £78 is non-refundable.
Secure Your Slot Fee refunds
Once we have found and secured your instructor, the Secure Your Slot Fee is non-refundable. If we cannot provide a suitable instructor for your booking, the Secure Your Slot Fee and your £78 first-lesson payment are refunded in full.
Package validity
A package is valid for 12 months from the date of your first lesson. After 12 months the entitlement expires. Because tuition is paid as lessons are taken, there is no unpaid tuition balance to forfeit. The Secure Your Slot Fee is not refunded and a new booking is required.
Leaving a package early
You can stop taking lessons at any time. Future tuition is paid as you go, so there are no future lesson payments to refund. The Secure Your Slot Fee remains non-refundable once an instructor has been secured.
Instructor replacement
We can arrange a replacement instructor at no additional matching charge where reasonably required. This is not intended to allow unlimited instructor changes.
If the instructor cancels
You will not lose your £78 lesson payment. The lesson is rearranged at no additional lesson charge.
Late arrival
If you arrive late, the lost time comes out of your booked lesson time. If your instructor is late, they are responsible for making up the lost teaching time.
Pick-up and drop-off
Pick-up and drop-off should be agreed with your instructor before the lesson and must be within their agreed operating area.
Adding more hours
Additional hours are purchased as another package through Pass and Drive. The applicable new Secure Your Slot Fee applies to the additional booking.
When your booking is confirmed
Your booking is fully confirmed once the initial payment has been made, we have secured an instructor, and you have been put in contact with that instructor.
Future lesson payments
Each following 2-hour lesson must be paid for in advance at £78. If the advance payment has not been made, the next lesson is not confirmed and will not take place.
Package changes
Once the Secure Your Slot Fee has been paid, the selected package cannot be reduced or increased. Additional hours can be purchased separately through Pass and Drive.
